Intrusion protection

All of our doors fitted with the Miba 100R(S) rail system can be equipped with an intrusion protection kit. The protection kit is certified with the SKG qualify mark (class II): the KOMO certificate. (link to download of KOMO certificate)

The KOMO certificate confirms that our doors fitted with the Miba 100R(S) rail system are protected against intrusion.

Our doors are approved in accordance with class II with Sommer automation systems.

Anti-trap protection

The panels on our doors have a special shape that ensures that fingers cannot become trapped between the two panels of the door.

Safety edge and obstacle protection

Our electrically operated doors are equipped with motors that feature a power safeguard to protect obstacles when your garage door is closing.
Other safety edge and obstacle protection devices including photo cells, light curtains, and air-pressure contacts in the lower rubber.

Spring-break protection, depending on model and version

The safety blocking wheel helps to stabilize the door leaf and bring it to a halt if one of the springs breaks.

Cable-break protection, depending on model and version

This special safeguard on the lower roll holders helps to stabilize the door leaf and bring it to a halt if one of the cables breaks.

Rail protection

The external edge of the vertical rails is fully enclosed to minimize the risk of trapping along the sides of the door.

Idler wheel and pulley protection, depending on model and version:
our doors for private use can be equipped with protective caps on the wheels and pulleys to minimize the risk of trapping.
